Sr. High Youth Group (9th through 12th) - The Sr. Youth group meets each Sunday from 7 to 8:30 pm.  Each week we have an interactive devotion, a snack and some great fellowship. There are also special quarterly fellowship events.  During these events the youth get a chance to relax, and have some fun.  These events help the group grow closer together and are a great opportunity to invite friends.  During the summer the youth attend a Servant Event and put their faith into action.

Fellowship Events

Friday March 9th through Tuesday March 13th, the youth went to Houston to help with hurricane relief.  We stayed at a local church and helped with rebuilding after the hurricane.

Friday April 20th and Saturday April 21st, LWLC will be taking part in the 30 Hour Famine, starting Friday at 6pm and finish up Saturday at 6pm.  The youth will be taking part in a number of service projects, games and activities to better learn about world hunger and how to combat it.

Periodically the Director of Youth will have special small group fellowship events for youth based on similar ages and interest.

Cluster Groups are designed to help youth serve God, get involved in the community and grow together as a group.  As an added bonus, there are lots of service hours for college as well!

These groups are made up of Jr. and Sr. high youth, and meet once a month to take part in various project around DFW and have fellowship as well.  These groups are led by caring background checked members of LWLC who invest their lives in the youth.

-          The first group serves at Woodridge Nursing Home, spending time with the residents.

-          The second group serves 6-Stones helping the local underprivileged.

-          The third group serves at ‘Pregnancy Help 4 U’ in North Richland Hills.

-          The final group serves our local police and fire fighters here in Grapevine.

These groups have fixed times they meet, so that participants can build their calendar around the meeting times and attend as often as possible.  Also 3-4 times a year the groups meet for an alternate service project or a purely fellowship event.

These groups are a way for youth to grow together and build long-lasting relationships that they can carry with them as they work their way through school and post-high school.

Woodridge next meeting: April 8th

Pregnancy Help 4 U next meeting: March 24th

6 Stones next meeting: March 24th

Mission trips

Each year the youth take two mission trips, an international trip and one inside the United States.  These trips are a great way to build relationships, and help those who are in need.  Most importantly these trips let us serve God and spread the Good News of His death and resurrection (Isaiah 6:8).

2018 Mission trips

The Sr. High Mission trip is to LVR (a camp in the mountains of Colorado), July 21st through 28th.  The youth will be working with special needs individuals from the community to help them camp and worship God in this wonderful setting.

The international mission trip will be to Costa Rica the week of June 10th through the 16th.  The youth will be serving local youth.
