August 29, 2010 Living Word Lutheran Church voted on terminating the congregation’s relationship with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and joining Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). 334 voting members were present. 295 voted “yes”, exceeding the 2/3 required for passage of the resolution. Living Word is now a member of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ. |
